Tyler Perkins - Korean bbq
I just recently started making this and I honestly love it, it tastes good
and is easy to make in about 15 mins.
Yield: ~2-4 servings
You will need:
- 1lb Ground Beef
- 3 Garlic cloves (or garlic powder)
- 1/4 Cup brown sugar
- 1/4 Soy sauce
- 2 Tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 Tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 Tsp red pepper
- 1/4 Tsp black pepper (or 2-4 turns of grinder)
- 2 Cups of rice
- A green bell pepper and/or onion (optional)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Process:
- Cook rice first, adding salt and butter to taste
- Chop up pepper and/or onion into bite size pieces
- In a bowl, whisk brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red
pepper, and black pepper
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and garlic, till no longer pink
- Add mixed seasonings to ground beef, along with vegtables. Cook on
lower heat till onions are translucent and pepper are soft
- Server over hot rice and garnish with sesame seeds
